How we Hire
Hiring the right candidate is always a challenge that faces many today, but at Waipareira, we go through the following process ensuring that the correct candidate is selected.
The Hiring Steps
All applications are processed online. We do not accept applications, resumes via email or hard copy.

1ST SCREENING / SHORTLISTING
All online applications are reviewed/assessed by the Recruitment Team. The team checks to see if you have completed the online application correct and that ALL questions are answered.
Successful applications are shortlisted for the Hiring Manager to review.
Interviews are organised with potential candidates and Hiring Managers at a time that suits the hiring manager and candidate.
The Recruitment team will email all details of the interview along with Employee Application Form, requests for Photo ID and copies of original certificates, qualifications to be brought to the interview.
Interview times are generally scheduled for one (1) hour.
2ND SCREENING / SHORTLISTING
Once all interviews are completed, the Hiring Manager provides feedback to the Recruitment Team on the candidates.
Any candidates suitable for the role may be required to undertake a second interview depending on the role within the organisation.
Where a second interview is not required, the Recruitment Team will contact the successful candidate with a verbal offer.
Unsuccessful candidates from the interview will be notified within 3-5 working days.
Successful candidates will be required to provide 2 x references. The Recruitment Team will conduct the reference checks.
A verbal offer is made to the successful candidate followed by an offer of employment, along with the Employment Agreement and other documentation, including Police Vetting forms.
Upon the acceptance of the offer, and receipt of the signed agreement, the onboarding process commences pending the outcome of the Vetting process.
Applications that have not been successful and have not had an interview will receive an email following the closure of the vacancy advising outcome.
